What’s Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 is a term you don’t often hear. What is Web 2.0 exactly? This is a simpler and more user-friendly way to use the internet to run your life insurance company. It can be used in many ways to help you generate qualified leads for your life insurance business or to recruit people to your company. There are many options. Many people use Web 2.0 without even realizing it. MySpace and Facebook are two great examples. These social networking sites can be used by even 13-year-olds with no difficulty.
Back in the day, if you didn’t know HTML or any other internet language, your company was not online. With Web 2.0, you can create a website, blog or forum in a matter of minutes. Web 2.0 can be described as “point and click internet”. You no longer have to write endless code to place a picture on your website. It is now possible to simply do it visually. To place the image in the middle of your screen, click on the icon and drag it there.
Why is this so difficult to use? Many people have never heard of it. Many people fear the internet and are reluctant to venture out of their comfort zones. They believe they will either “mess up something” or need to learn a complex system. It is actually one of the easiest ways to get your business and yourself out there.
Qualified Life Insurance Leads
Qualified life insurance leads do not have to be difficult or expensive. I don’t know about you but I don’t think buying a life lead list is qualified life insurance leads. While the lists claim to have “exclusive” information, you should know that there are many agents in your area who are being solicited by companies to sell you life insurance leads. Let’s face it, they are also in business to make money, and they won’t limit their efforts to you.
Web 2.0 makes it much easier to generate qualified leads for life insurance. Consider this example: If I write an article, it will live forever. The more content you post, the more people will see it. This will increase your credibility. You won’t find a quick fix if you’re looking for one. It doesn’t exist. Every step in life is a one-by-one process. This is how you get qualified life insurance leads.
Imagine you only had 10 articles that people were regularly visiting. If five people read your article each day and gained some knowledge and then wanted to know more, you could have 35 qualified leads for life insurance. This sounds great to me. If they have a question, you’d be the first person they e-mail. If the problem cannot be resolved by e-mail, or over the telephone, you can make an appointment to meet with them in person. Imagine the prospect meeting you for the second time. He has already got to know you through your articles and would be open to you. The prospect would see you as a solution-oriented person and not a salesman.
We now have to ask the question: What is the cost of Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 – The Costs
Web 2.0 is completely free to market qualified life insurance leads. It costs nothing to post an article on this site, or any other website. You can express your creativity, business or products on a variety of social media sites that are free. Web 2.0 is a great way to promote your products and business ideas at a low cost.
You can make a huge difference in your life insurance business by incorporating the information you’ve read into it. Qualified life leads don’t need to be expensive and shouldn’t require cold-calling. Your life insurance business could be affected by the use of different social media sites. There are no quick fixes to long-term problems. It is better to be more concrete and see the snowball effect grow.
