You guessed right. He is a billionaire, and the founder of Zozo, a Japanese clothing brand. Elon Musk has agreed to allow him to travel to the moon with one of the rockets still being built.
Yusaku, founder of Zozo, would be taking a trip in a rocket called B.F.R. It would take until 2023 for the rocket to become fully functional and complete.
Maezawa, however, wants to follow in the footsteps of American astronauts who successfully landed the moon during Mission Apollo 8.
Trip Estimation
It is obvious that the trip to Mars would cost many millions of dollars. Both Elon Musk, Yusaku Mezawa and Yusaku Mezawa are involved in the whole process of the moon-trip. However, they have chosen not to reveal the exact amount.
