The Search For a Soulmate – The Reality and the Illusion

One of the oldest institutions that man has created is marriage. According to an old proverb, marriages are created in heaven and completed on Earth. Many believe that God creates human beings from the same soul in pairs and that everyone has a soulmate in this life. Finding your soulmate is the true meaning of true love. Each person has a unique soulmate, and it is up to the individual to find that soulmate.

Soulmate is a romantic concept that’s very interesting. Every person who falls in love feels like he has found his soulmate. They believe they are meant for each other, or that they are one body and one soul.

So often, people refer to love as the union of souls.

All love does not necessarily lead to union of souls, as only Soulmates can. This concept is beautifully explained by Paulo Coelho, world-famous author of Brida.

When people consider reincarnation they often face a difficult question: If there were so few people in the beginning and there are now so many, how did those new souls get here?

It’s simple.

We can split into two in certain reincarnations. Our souls split in two, and these new souls transform into two. Within a few generations, our scattered souls can be found over large areas of Earth. This process is known as Love. A soul always splits into a male and female parts when it divides.

This is how the Book of Genesis describes it: The soul of Adam split in half and Eve was created from him.

We feel an obligation in each life to find at least one Soul Mate.

He is why everyone seems to care about the special person in their lives who is the soulmate.

Identification of Soulmate

It is so common in the world to find the concept of a soulmate in almost every civilization. However, the most difficult task seems to be identifying the soulmate.

Finding your soulmate is easiest when you feel in love. A man and a woman who fall in love are united souls and behave as if they were two souls. Paulo Coelho wrote the book Brida

The light in your eyes can tell you if you are with the right person. This has been the way people have known their true love since time began. The Tradition of the Moon employed a different method: A kind of vision that pointed a point of light over the left shoulder of your Soulmate.

People are very sincere in their search for soulmates through love. Most people lose love much sooner than they should. Love is often called blind. Ambrose Bierce referred to love as insanity.

Love can be a temporary illness that can be treated by marriage.

It is a fact that the majority of people who love their spouse deeply do not sustain it for their entire lives. This can be seen in the rising divorce rates in modern times.

The Rise in Divorce Rate

Many people are disappointed in their relationships when they discover that the person they love is not their soulmate. The rise in divorce rates, especially in western countries, has contributed to this trend. Jennifer Baker, Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, Springfield, Missouri, states that 50% of first marriages end in divorce . 67% of second marriages and 74% of third marriages end in divorce .

Statistics are only one part of the story. Most people now have a suspicion about their marriage’s success and will live in their homes for many years, even having children before they marry. Only after they feel in love can they marry. However, divorce is a common outcome of marriages as shown by the statistics.

Is this a sign that people can’t find their soulmate?

Oder does it mean that our perceptions of the soulmate are flawed?

We must also consider whether soulmate is real or a myth created by our ancestors to make sure that people don’t divorce. It is a crime to divorce your spouse after you have been married. Because most people fear committing sin, marriages have survived in the past.

But, once the man began to choose their partner by falling in love, he soon discovered that true love is not found in romantic novels or spiritual literatures.

What Scriptures Say About Marriage

The most secret institution of humankind is marriage. Hindu marriages in India are still legally registered using the mantras of “Rig Veda”, an ancient scripture written over three thousand years prior to the birth of Christ. Hindu scriptures state that marriages can be broken in this life, but they can last up to seven lives.

India’s institution of marriage has stood the test of time. Even though the west is trying to lower the divorce rate, the divorce rate in India is still much lower than the western one. This is despite the fact that India has similar laws regarding divorce as the west.

One of the most fascinating facts about Indian marriage is the fact that 90% of them are “arranged” by their parents, rather than being arranged by the girl and boy. The majority of the time, the boy has never even met the girl. Even if they have met, they rarely get to know each other because they only meet for a short time in the company of their parents. Almost all marriages survive, and most couples feel in love throughout their lives.

The Concept of Love and Marriage

To understand the nature of love, it is necessary to consult the Bible. Its first chapter deals with the concept in Genesis 21-24.

The LORD God made the man fall into deep sleep. While he was asleep, he took one man’s ribs from him and filled the space with flesh. The LORD God created a woman out of the rib he had taken from the man and brought her to him. The man replied,

“This has now become the bone of my bones

and flesh from my flesh;

She will be called “woman”,

She was taken from man. “

A man can leave his mother and father to be with his wife and become one flesh.

The nature has thus divided the human species into man and women. In Indian Scriptures, God is also known as the Universal Soul ( Parmtama), because He is the source for all of the souls of the people. As each soul is unique, every person has the same soul that is God’s soul.

The Illusion of Soulmate

It may not be possible to find a soul meant for a person, as all souls are identical. The only difference between them is that their souls complement each other, just as protons and electrons are opposites.

Only the Soul of God or God can connect different souls. It is like a thread joining the flowers to create a garland.

The love of God is the key to love. If a person loses faith, it is impossible to maintain a connection with another soul. Faith is the key to a happy marriage and love. It’s well known That “the family that prays together stays together”

No God, No Love

Because love and God are both names of the same reality, it is often said that love is God. Because God created the attraction between man and woman for their spiritual destiny, this is real love. A new life can only be created by the union between the body and soul. The union of the soul and body is the key to love.

Like all living things, love is born. It grows naturally. Although love is initially physical, it grows into a state of mind and spirit that allows for the ultimate destiny of becoming one with God.

If the spouses do not move from the physical stage to that of mind and spirit, then all physical love will begin to fade. The union of the body must evolve to become the union the mind, which means that lovers should become friends soon. Friends are a mixture of friends with little or no physical component. When the souls of lovers are united, the friendship must evolve into something spiritual. The union between souls must then grow into the spiritual union to God.

People don’t accept the change in love’s nature, just as they can’t accept their child growing up. They see the loss in physical desire as the loss in love because they associate love with physical attraction.

This led to the search for a new soulmate, and they continue the search until their last breadth when it finally dawns on them that there is no one.

Faithful people will eventually become spiritual with their Soulmates, passing through the stages of body, mind and soul (God).

The True Soulmate

Soulmate is a real concept. The soulmate is not unique because everyone has the same soul, which is part God. If one has faith in God, they can find their soulmate and find love in almost anyone. Only one can remain in love if they have faith and are open to accepting love in all its forms, including friendship, lust, and spirituality. This is the only way to be in love. The journey is not over with physical love. Your soulmate is someone who helps you achieve your destiny and also travels with you to realize it.
