CURE Car Insurance review

Consumers want solid, affordable auto insurance coverage. You may be surprised to find that car insurance will cost you more if you have poor credit. Low credit drivers tend to file more claims that drivers with better credit scores. Insurance companies will charge more for this higher risk.

There are many ways to get affordable car coverage if you have low credit scores. Citizens United Reciprocal Exchange auto insurance might be right for you if you are from New Jersey or Pennsylvania. CURE doesn’t consider your credit score, occupation, or education level when determining the price of insurance. Bankrate has reviewed CURE coverage options, discounts, and third-party rankings in order to give you an idea of whether the company is right for you.

CURE auto insurance

CURE offers three coverage options to its customers. You have the option to choose from a basic or standard policy quote when you get a CURE quote. Or you can select the custom quote option, which allows you to choose your coverages separately.

Insurance

According to CURE, the basic policy quote is generally less expensive than a standard policy and offers fewer benefits. Drivers with very limited budgets might find the basic quote to be an attractive option. Drivers should know that they could be responsible for out-of-pocket costs if there is an at-fault accident. Customers can choose from the following coverage limits when they purchase a basic policy:

  • Property damage coverage limit: $5,000
  • Personal Injury Protection: $15,000 limit
  • Maximum coverage for extended medical expenses: $10,000
  • Limitation on the threshold for lawsuits
  • Bodily Injury Liability: Up to $10,000 coverage is available as an option

The personal injury protection limit (PIP) is $15,000 but you have the option to choose how much. Your premium will be lower if you have a higher PIP deductible. However, you will be responsible for paying more if there is a claim. The PIP coverage also covers emergency care for certain injuries up to $250,000.

Standard policy quotes, also known as the “quickquote” option, prefill certain coverage options and offer more options for coverage or additional protection. You can choose from a greater range of coverage options with the standard policy quote option.

  • Bodily injury liability and uninsured/underinsured motorist bodily injury coverage: from $15,000 per person and $30,000 per accident up to $250,000 per person and $500,000 per accident
  • Personal injury coverage: From $15,000 per accident to $250,000
  • Uninsured motorist property and physical damage coverage: From $5,000 per accident to $100,000 per accident
  • Comprehensive coverage or collision: Both options are available on standard insurance
  • Towing and labor coverage
  • Transport coverage extended

The quote also includes a $500 deductible for medical expenses and an extended $10,000 medical expense benefits coverage limit. There is also a limitation on the number of lawsuits.

You can personalize your policy with the custom quote option by selecting from the various coverage options CURE has to offer.
